Consider what characteristics you are open to in a friend and then perform the steps below to search for members.
Important: We encourage you to be open to members who are different from you, including those who hold different beliefs. However, if deep-down, you aren’t comfortable with that, we think it’s better to not proceed with the contact.
Tips
The following tips will help ensure you don’t leave out members who may be a great fit!
Tip 1: Select the characteristics you are open to in a friend, not your own characteristics.
Tip 2: Select all that apply. For example, if you select, “I don’t like night clubs,” then you will only see people who selected that option. To see people who do AND don’t like night clubs, you should select both options (or don’t select either of them).
How to search for members
Mobile instructions
1. Tap the hamburger menu.
2. Tap Members.
3. Select your criteria in the list of filters.
Tip: Try switching to Desktop Site to see more filters at once. Switch back if you prefer the Mobile Site view. To switch to desktop view:
– Android users: Select the browser menu (three dots) in the top-left of the browser and find the Desktop site toggle.
– Apple users: Select the AA button in the top-left of the browser and select Request Desktop Website.
